Additionally, the city is accessible for wheelchair users and has enacted initiatives to reflect this. Lincoln City recently established a beach mobility program that installed mobi-mats for wheelchair access. Starting in 2024, there will be four beach access points across Lincoln City with mobi-mats. Beach Mobility Mats (mobi-mats) are available for use annually between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There are currently three beach wheelchairs available for free use through the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department.
